BEYOND FOUNDATION: HOW TO FIND YOUR PERFECT SHADE
Find Your Perfect Match with our Simple 3 Step Shading System. It's important while choosing your shade, you look at your face, neck and décolletage. This will help you have shade consistency.
Step 1: Identify your colour category: Light (L), Medium (M) or Dark (D). These can often be identified as to how your skin reacts when in the sun: light skins tend to burn very easily in the sun, medium skins will tan in the sun, and dark skins tan easily and rarely burn.
Step 2: Identify your undertone: Golden (G), Rose (R) OR Neutral (N). Undertones are the tones you have in your skin. For Illamasqua, golden is cool, olive, essentially skin that has a little more yellow tone than pink. Rose is rosey, warm blush tones, essentially skin that has more pink or red within it. Neutral is the perfect mix of both Rose and Golden tones, creating a beige, peachy skin tone.
Step 3: Choose your depth from 1-4. The depth of the foundation is based on how dark or light you want or need your foundation to be, from 1 being lightest and 4 being darkest. Each foundation shade name will have a colour, undertone and depth, ie. MG1, LR2, DN3, etc.

Ensure you are primed to perfection by using Hydra Veil Primer, this will ensure your skin looks stays in place all day and will smooth away any pores or fine lines for a youthful, perfected glow. I like to apply a 10 pence size of product around the T-Zone after moisturiser.

Fab foundation
I've searched for a very long time for a foundation that suited my neutral-warm with olive undertone skin tone, that was lightweight, dewy and didn't itch. I recently came across Beyond Foundation in MN3 and love it! Perfect for me in every way - just bought 6 bottles for stock in case it's discontinued.

Must have
I've been wanting to try this foundation for a while after trying a sample. I've used Skin Base for the last 5 years on myself and clients and that has never disappointed. The 60% discount made this even more tempting so I bought 4 shades (work purposes). Illamasqua knows how to do foundation. This is great for people with mature or dry skin. I would probably avoid if you're oily or use a mattifying primer underneath first. It's a beautiful light weight formula that leaves your skin still looking like skin, with a glow. I can't wait to start using this on my clients.

Fabulous Foundation
This foundation is absolutely amazing on my skin. It is a perfect match. It's not oily/greasy or matte. It's just perfect. No slippage. Covers perfectly and if you want extra coverage it is very buildable.

Natural coverage for my skin
I've been looking for a foundation which looks natural when it goes on your skin and which is vegan. Finally found it! The liquid goes on so smoothly and I don't feel it's plastered on my face. I've started to recommend it to my friends.

I love this foundation!  I have been searching and searching for a lightweight foundation/skin tint that just gives your skin a warm healthy glow without looking heavy and thick and settling in lines.  This fits the bill perfectly!  I still need to wear a little concealer, but it blends well and gives you a fresh seamless finish.  I’ve even found that if I leave a tiny bit on the back of my hand and mix my cream blusher with it, it blends it perfectly without looking unnatural.  I will need a slightly lighter shade for the winter months no doubt, but the samples will make it easier to find the right one. Â

Don't waste your money.
This foundation is awful!! It feels claggy on the skin and the texture is awful and it does not settle well! It looks okay when first put on but after an hour you have to even out. If you are looking for something lightweight and dewy then I recommend the NARS tinted moisturiser or Armani luminous. You could probably get a better foundation from Boots for half the price.

Beyond foundation
Loving this product on my mature skin.  Last all day.  Doesn’t settle in fine lines and wrinkles.  Skin looks lovely.  Very hydrating. Trying to find best colours for me as there are so many shades to choose from.  Samples great to try various colours although I have purchased full size which it brilliant and I love the product rises as you use it so no wastage.  Was trying the skin base but it was to drying on my skin but this is perfect with buildable coverage. Â
